Merdeka Day Orders!

Hello all!

My indo national day was a cupcake full of a day as I had 6 dozen cupcakes to bake not to mention in five different flavours!

A good friend of mine wanted 5 dozen for a tasting and a dozen was for my father in law to bring to Bogor for the death anniversary of his mother. Let's hope grandma approved my baking from heaven. :)

My First Baptism Cupcakes

My family and I had a lovely Saturday. It was also the day my future sister in law was baptised into the Catholic Church.

As a gift I offered to make her cupcakes to celebrate this wonderful occasion. She requested for my strawberry cuppies after she saw the photos online. The other cupcakes were red velvet with cream cheese frosting and coloured with Lily's favourite colour Lilac.

As for the little edible flowers on top, I made it myself. Yes I finally attempted to make something from fondant and though its small, it was a definitely a huge step for me. It's all a learning process. :)

As you can see from the photos, she's one happy lady!

Happy Birthday Tobias!

This post goes way back to the month of May!

It was my secretary's son's 3rd birthday and I offered to make him cupcakes for him to bring to school. His favourite flavour is chocolate so of course I tripled the choc dosage with a double chocolate chip base and chocolate butter cream on top.

His favourite theme is Power Rangers but unfortunately I couldn't find any toppers in the store (I've yet to master the art of fondant figurines :p) so we settled for Garfield.

Red Velvet Treats!

Red velvet cupcakes is a flavour I can never get sick of. The delicious base along with a cream cheese icing is just pure heaven on your taste buds. My sister in law is a big fan of this flavour! Top it off with fresh strawberries and you are good to go.

Chocolate and Strawberry Delights!

Hello all!!

I've been missing in action tending to motherhood duties. Everything is more settled now and I'm finally back in cupcake mode!

This order was made for my dear friend Marlin. She wanted to surprise her boys with some yummy treats and what couldn't be better then chocolate and strawberry cupcakes!

I made a basic chocolate base with chocolate butter cream and added rainbow sprinkles for some colour and fun. The strawberry cupcake was made with a vanilla base and strawberry butter cream. I added fresh pureed strawberries to my butter cream with no preservatives or flavouring. It tastes absolutely sweet and fresh!

Double Choc Delight!

I was suppose to conduct a baking session over the weekend with my cousin but unfortunately something came up and we had to postpone it. I remember her telling me her hubby and son loves anything chocolate so the next day I decided to bake them a fresh batch of my double chocolate chip cupcakes with chocolate butter cream on top.

It is just such a sinful delight! There's 3 types of chocolate ingredients in it so you can imagine how chocolatey it is!

And being a typical female, I had to spruce it up with pretty shiny dragee and edible flowers.

I just couldn't resist! ;)

Happy Birthday Hubby!

It was my husband's birthday recently and what better way to show my appreciation for him but to bake his favourite vanilla cupcakes. Not to mention it was my first cupcakes for the year 2010!

Its a simple vanilla base with vanilla butter cream on top with some yummy sugary edibles. It may sound boring but its just such a lovely flavour and is perfect for baby showers or high tea sessions.

Just to put it simply, yummy!

Lealalicious is now open for business!

Hello Cupcake Lovers!

Lealalicious is now finally online!

Please bear with me for the moment as I'm new to blogging and trying to work out the kinks. :p

Rest assured I make quality cupcakes which are not only beautiful to the eye
but also wonderful for the taste buds.

I've been helping out my sister with her online business for two years so I pretty
much know the drill about making cupcakes. At the present time, I can whip up flavours such as vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, mocha and lemon. Give me a bit more time and I will be able to offer you more delicious flavours and beautiful designs.

In case you're wondering where I got the name from, it is inspired by my beautiful daughter Leala. You inspire mummy to work hard and this is all because of you. :)
